Today I'll take another walk through my garden gate and remember some more of the delicious food we harvested this last fall.
If I look straight up when I go through, I'll see the biggest grape harvest we've had yet from our baby Concord Grape that my husband planted a few years ago.
There were a lot of them hiding in the leaves up there. We nibbled a few and then made the rest into grape jam for him. And no, he's not sharing because there are only three jars of it. But there will certainly be more next year at the rate things are going ~
And the apples - we love them so. We had plenty, but not too many, which is always a blessing. This year we made lots of apple sauce, and sliced them up to put in the freezer for pies in winter.
And while I don't have a garden picture of the tomatoes, we harvested them in to November this year and they were plentiful indeed. (That's one ten pound bowl of many!)
Needless to say I love all that our garden gives us and as this baby blog grows I'll share some of my favorite ways to preserve, cook and bake up the bounty. So stay tuned ~ there's lots more to come.

What gorgeous bounty! And I love your garden gate. Congratulations on your beautiful new blog! :) ~Farmgirl Susan
